This scene was painted outside on a late November day in Woodbridge, Suffolk with the East Suffolk plein air group. The wind was moving the clouds and water quickly and due to the incoming rain, we had to pack up quickly. But these conditions lent itself to a fresh and energetic study in oils. Done on a 10 x 14 canvas board.
